IAW5AM ducati seed key

I'd like to immo off one ducati ecu.

I'd like to do it in 2 differents steps:

1st i'll use the galetto1260 interface.

But it seems i need to switch ecu into boot mode to read flash/eeprom content.

I've seen on 59F ecu , it need to make a small hole to ground one pin.

Is it the same with IAW5AM ?

i'm surprised because some company can make ecu reflash without open it or making any holes

2nd i'm trying to make my own software to do it

i can get ecu seeds , but i don't know how to calcultate the key according to the seed generated by the ecu .

Can somebody help me ?

in order to improve my diag software and acces more function , i wonder if somebody have the iaw5AM ecu spec?

Hallo,

The problem to switch off immobilizer (for ever) is possible with 1260. But you must know that cars (59f) and bikes (59m 5am) aren't the same thing.

What do you need? Do you want eliminate immo for ever?

By 1260, it is possible eliminate immo (5am), but it will be no possible to enable again.

i've ordered a 1260 to make some tests.

i thought it was possible to read eeprom and cancel immo by erasing some bytes.

my concern is how to read eeprom ?

Galetto doc is talking about boot mode , that requires to open ecu or make a hole in the housing

do you know if in iaw5Am HW610 we need to do the same process ?

Could you explain the process to make ecu dump with 1260 and iaw5am ?

i don't want to cancel immo for ever , but if is it the only way ,i'll do it.

i guess , if it's cancelled for ever , it means you make some modifications flash binary , not in eeprom .

Do you confirm that ?

galetto is not working with iaw5amhw610 ,

so i've no other choice to do my own software.

Here under some valid key calculated with galetto1260

I can see last 2 bytes are always the same 69 27.

but who knows how are calculated the 2 1st bytes ?

seed structure is always the same

1st bye , 2nd byte , 3rd byte = 1st byte, 4th byte = 2nd byte +1

seed => key

56 F5 56 F6 => 87 3D 69 27

8A 91 8A 92 => E9 49 69 27

BE 3D BE 3E => 63 65 69 27

6C E1 6C E2 => 68 49 69 27

B1 35 B1 36 => 56 A5 69 27

Any idea ?

sincerely, I can not follow you. Please tell me, what do you want to do? Do you want read immo code? Do you want to modify a map?

By galletto, you can modify map and you can disable immo forever. It is no possible read immo code by galletto.
